Vision Statement: As a Designer I work to develop products and services that will improve the quality of daily life. Whether by personal financing or by working with existing companies, my ideas and innovations will reach the public.

Interdisciplinary Studies: Few problems could be solved or goals achieved with the knowledge one would have from studying one subject their entire life. It is for that reason that a basic education consists of studying reading, writing, math, and science. Sadly; complex issues require more than a basic understanding of these subjects. Most require specialized information from specific areas of study. It is then up to us to bridge that knowledge in order to solve those problems and achieve our goals. Sometimes, however; bridging that knowledge is a complex problem of its own. Fortunately, giving students interested in different subjects the ability to do so is the goal of ASU's Interdisciplinary Studies Program. With it, students like myself, are able to combine their diverse knowledge into a powerful tool they can use forever. With the goal of one day designing, producing, and marketing my own ideas and innovations, my Interdisciplinary Studies education will have given me the most powerful tool I need. |
